Jumping for Charity

Tomorrow night we’re off to Western Sydney to do not one, but THREE jumping trials to help raise money for the Bush Fires.

It looks like it’s going to be a busy night, with 750 entries! That also means we’re in for a long night.

It’ll be interesting to see how much energy Jaxon has at midnight for our last trial. Oh, and me! Better take some tea too.

Bathurst Trial

It’s been a couple of days since we returned to Sydney, but we’ve both now caught up on our sleep & are fully rested from the big weekend. Which isn’t that hard for Jaxon as it’s been raining, so agility training is off the cards for now.

We’ve arrived

Jaxon sleepingWell, we’re here. Bathurst was a hot and muggy 33.5 DC when we arrived this afternoon.

rain in BathurstOne small reprieve, the weather has changes & brought a very cool change and rain. The dogs will do much better in the cooler weather, and I’m glad I packed my long pants and shirt!

Our First Trial

Well, we did it! We got through the first trial without too much trouble, and had lots of fun as well.

We joined the Agility dog club of NSW for their Tuesday night agility trial in Castle Hill.

We were second up in the 300 height category, after one of our friends from Paws4fun was bumped up to the 300 class from 200, after being measured. The course was good. Not too easy, not too hard, and our biggest fear was missing the weaves.
