Christmas what?

Apparently Christmas is just around the corner, and the parties have started already.

It was the NSDTC Christmas party today, and all the dogs had a great time being dressed up by their owners….. or more than likely it was the other way round!

Wonder Weaves Video Part 2

The long awaited second instalment of our weaving! Enjoy

Guess who?

Guess who.

Guess who.

Guess who Jaxon’s going to the Christmas party as…. IF it’s delivered on time….

Hint: his real name initials are BW….

Wonder Weaves video part 1

We promised a video – so here’s the first of 3. Hope you enjoy!

Radioactive Cat

Jaxon’s mate Oska had to visit the Dr this week for Hyperthyroid treatment.

Poor Oska has been suffering from hyperthyroid for a few months, and was severely allergic to any of the medicines the Vet prescribed for him. This meant a lot of throwing up for Oska, and lots of wishful looks from Jaxon at the sick (can’t I just sniff it, Mum? I promise I won’t taste it… yeah right!). Read the rest of this entry

It’s been a quiet week

ImageThe rains came down this week, and we had a tornado down the road, which luckily didn’t come near our house!  Today is the first day of sunshine in a while, so Jaxon and I are itching to get out and do some training (well I am…)!

November is busy as usual, and Jaxon is busy trying to figure out what he’ll wear for the Christmas party this year. Any suggestions?

Also notice that we’ve started a YouTube channel to share all of our lovely tricks, trials & fun on!

Soooo good looking! New hair cut.

Susan Garrett in Australia

Well, it was a bit late to find out, but we discovered this week that Susan Garrett was in Australia for a training camp. Can you imagine a whole week of training with her (well, if you had a pup old enough, and got into the camp)!?

We are really enjoying the 2×2 weaves method, and I can see Jaxon is actually starting to get faster and faster through the weaves. When we watched her DVD, we could hardly believe how fast Susan & her dog Encore went (well, really just how fast Encore was!). Encore was like a streak through the weaves, and hit the entry perfectly every time.

It really inspired us to try harder on getting a bit better, even though we’ll never be as great as Susan & Encore. I recommend if you’re struggling with weave training to check out the DVD, or even read Susan’s Blog

Bathurst Trial

It’s been a couple of days since we returned to Sydney, but we’ve both now caught up on our sleep & are fully rested from the big weekend. Which isn’t that hard for Jaxon as it’s been raining, so agility training is off the cards for now.

The weekend was well run by the Greater Western All Breeds Club, and each ring ran really well. The judges were clear & had a laugh at the lighter moments. Everyone was really friendly, and Jaxon managed to bribe treats out of many people thanks to his charms and good looks….
