Agility News Friday – World Agility Open Championships
This week we’ve been nothing but Agility nerds. From new courses, to new methods, to new books. It’s been an agility crazy lead up to the year’s first agility trial.
We’re very new to Agility (6 months), so we are at the bottom of the rung. Even though I grew up with lots of dogs, Jaxon is my first dog. The first dog I’ve had to train myself.
And I love him – he is the best addition to my life (apart from my husband, obviously!). Working with Jaxon has brought me life changes, dragged me out of chronic depression, and given me a passion for life that is pure joy.
So when we see people at the top of the sport, it’s both exciting and awesome to be able to watch them, learn from them, and enjoy how great they are at what they do!
This year, we’ll keenly be watching as the World Agility Open Championships are held in Italy this May. Some locals will be representing Australia there, and it’ll be great to cheer them on – even if remotely!
